Queton
Jammer is a physical corner who always covers the Longhorn opponent's top
receiver. He could have left after his junior year but elected to come
back.
PROS:
Big and physical.
Fits the bill physically as the prototype corner Very aggressive and likes
to play press coverage, can mathc up against bigger receivers. Jammer is
also excellent in run support and likes to come up and hit.
CONS:
Overall coverage
skills are decent but could still use a little work. He can be beaten deep.
Is not a real burner when it comes to foot speed. Can be over-aggressive.
FINAL WORD:
Looks like
the top corner in 2002. Probably a top 10 pick, maybe in the top 5. Where
he is selected could depend on if underclassmen like Lito Shepperd and
Dennis Weathersby come out. Still, he's a shutdown corner which the NFL
teams are always looking for. |
