NFL DRAFT 2007
An early look at the top high school juniors in the nation.

1.CHRIS LEAK - QB - Charlotte Independence (NC)
C.J. Leak's younger brother has been re-writing the North Carolina record books and he's still got two years to go. A little on the short side at 6'0-6'1 but he's a quality athlete and can really air out the ball. An excellent prospect.

2.LIONEL RICHENS - DT - Bloomfield (CT)
He is huge! At 6'3, 345 lbs, Richens is a dominator. He's the best player on one of the country's best teams. He could be a star at offensive or defensive tackle but it looks like defense is where he'll end up in college.

3.JAMARCUS RUSSELL - QB - Williamson (AL)
When you're looking for someone to compare him too, take your pick: Donovan McNabb, Aaron Brooks, Tee Martin. He's 6'4, 200 lbs and can beat you running or passing. He rivals Leak for athleticism.

4.DEMETRIUS SUMMERS - RB - Lexington (SC)
Summers was a star as a sophomore and expect more of the same as a Junior and Senior. At 6'1, 195, he has the size to run inside but also has the breakaway speed to beat you outside. Lou Holtz would love to get his hands on this talent.

5.SHAWN CRABLE - DE - Massilion Washington
A superb athlete who is also an excellent Power Forward, Crable is the defensive force that complements Justin Zwick on offense for Massilion. He can play LB or DE but DE may be the best spot for him if he adds more weight to that 6'6 frame.

6.LeBRON JAMES - WR - Akron St.Vincent (OH)
He's one of the nation's best basketball players but LeBron James could be a star on the football field as well. At 6'6, he has great size and of course, he has great leaping ability. Look for him to improve on his 42 rec and 14 TDs from last year.

7.MARCUS WOODS - RB - Farmington Hills Harrison (MI)
He's been on varsity since he was a freshman and that's saying a lot considering Harrison is a state powerhouse. Woods has great speed and quickness through the hole and is equally adept at running inside or out.

8.H.B. BLADES - LB - Plantation (FL)
Add another name to the Blades family list of stars (Brian, Bennie and Al). The next Blades Brother may be the best athlete of them all. At 6'1, 200 Lbs, he runs a 4.6 forty and can bench press 325 Lbs.

9.DAMON JENKINS - DB - Concord De La Salle (CA)
De La Salle is a football factory and Jenkins looks like the next one. He has great size (6'3) for a defensive back and he's been making plays since he was a sophomore. He has potential stardom written all over him.

10.TYRONE MOSS - RB - Pompanp Beach Ely (FL)
Moss led Ely to the state title game as a sophomore. He had some huge rushing performances along the way too. He's not huge (5'11, 190) but runs tough and isn't a true burner (4.5) but has the right amount of burst.

11.DERRICK WASHINGTON - OT - Dallas Carter  (TX)
12.XAVIER ADIBI - DE - Hampton Phoebus  (VA)
13.DAREUS HILEY - DB - Cleveland Glenville (OH)
14.MICHAEL OKWO - LB - Manhattan Beach Mira Costa (CA)
15.LaRUE RUMPH - DB - Clearwater Central Catholic (FL)
16.LENDALE WHITE - RB - Denver South  (CO)
17.DORIAN BRYANT - WR - Paterson Don Brosco  (NJ)
18.KENYA BUFORD - OT - Murfreesboro Riverdale  (TN)
19.PRESCOTT BURGESS - DB - Warren Harding  (OH)
20.JEROME JACKSON - RB - Saginaw (MI)
21.PAUL SMITH - QB - Owasso  (OK)
22.COREY McKEON - DB - Naperville North (IL)
23.JAYSON SWAIN - WR - Huntsville Grissom  (AL)
24.RAFAEL RICE - RB - Santa Ana Mater Dei  (CA)
25.THOMAS MARSHALL - DT - Dallas Lincoln  (TX)
26.MICAHEL BUSH - WR - Louisville Male  (KY)
27.BRIAN GREER - DT - Bloomfield  (CT)
28.TIM CASTILLE - WR - Birmingham Briarwood Christian (AL)
29.SEAN BRADSHAW - RB - Panama City Rutherford  (FL)
30.ARLINGTON HIGHSMITH - LB - Miami Central (FL)
31.JAMARCUS JACKSON - RB - Tarrant (AL)
32.JUNIOR Le'MAUU  - DT - Long Beach Poly (CA)
