The WR class has been overrun by underclassmen the last few years. Terrell, Robinson, Burress and more. This year there are some talented underclassmen but the Senior class is very good as well.
At the top is 3 yr soph Jabar Gaffney. Gaffney is a deadly weapon, able to beat you deep or run the short routes. Should he come out he would be a top 10 pick. Behind Gaffney a couple spots is Pittsburgh Jr. Antonio Bryant. An extraordinary talent who has had off the field troubles
and has lacked a QB. He has top 5 talent though. Other Jrs include Georgia
triple threat Terrance Edwards who can run thrown and catch.
The top seniors are a mixed bag. There are absolute speedsters like Andre Davis and Kelly Campbell and then there are the big boys like Marquise Walker, Javon Walker and Ron Johnson. Marquise and fellow Big Ten WR Lee Evans are both climbing draft boards because each has had a great 2001 season. The same can be said for Washington State duo Mike
Bush and Nakoa McElrath. Bush has came from the WSU Basketball team
and has used his size to present matchup problems. Speaking of which, the SWAC is again giving the NFL big, athletic receivers. Try 6'6 Lawrence Story and 6'5 Michael Hayes. Story's counterpart TC Taylor is an athletic 6'4 WR with 4.4 speed and Hayes teammate is Devin Lewis who is 6'3 and reportedly runs a 4.33 forty. Other sleepers to watch are Hofstra's Charlie Adams and Clarence Coleman of D3 Ferris State.

RECENT UPDATES
11/04 - Michigan's Marquise Walker again had a fabulous game. This time he torched Michigan State but the Wolverines came up short.
Walker appears destined to become the top Senior receiver in the draft.

11/04 - Walker's performance aside, MSU's RS Freshman Charlie Rogers was spectacular. 6 rec, 86 yards and a TD along with drawing several pass interference calls. He's a definite guy to watch out for the next few years.

11/03 - in early game action today, Pittsburgh's Antonio Bryant came up with 2 TDs as the Panthers stunned no.12 Virgina Tech 38-7.

11/01 - UNC pretty much held Kelly Campbell in check as RB Joe Burns got the Yellowjacket run game going but this shouldn't hurt Campbell's stock any. He seems locked in on a later (20-32) first round pick.
