DEFENSIVE END - 6'6, 270, 4.6  -  North Carolina  -  Junior

Julius Peppers, only a Junior may be the most feared defender in the entire country. He combines fine athleticism with a nasty attitude. He is the closest thing UNC's had to Lawrence Taylor since Taylor graduated.

PROS:
He has great size, speed and athleticism. He is also a Power Forward so you know he has some height and leaping ability. Peppers plays this game with a passion and hits with authority. His specialty is rushing the passer but he is by no means one dimensional. He has the size and strength to match up versus the run.

CONS:
ummm.....umm. He really doesn't have any. He's going to have to learn to fight double teams and backers chipping him but he doesn't bear a noticeable flaw at the moment.

FINAL WORD: He says he's coming out after this year so that means the NFL better watch out. He's every bit the prospect Courtney Brown was. A franchise player who might go #1.
